Melissa is a California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Sacramento State.

Melissa has experience supporting children and families across school, private practice, early intervention, in-home, and teletherapy settings. She especially enjoys working with young children and emerging communicators, including children who use few or no spoken words and those who benefit from additional support developing functional communication skills.

Melissa partners with families to build meaningful communication through play, connection, and everyday routines while honoring each child’s individual strengths, interests, and ways of communicating.
